The Fundraising Page of Jo Anne Castillo

This year, I am running the Chicago Marathon and I am raising money for Team Gilda in honor of my sister Jeanne's battle against MMMT. Similar to Gilda, Jeanne has a love of comedy, laughter, and love so naturally, this foundation seemed perfect. I ran my first marathon with my two sisters; Jeanne and Diane. Since then, we have run numerous half and full marathons all over the country together. Diane is a breast cancer survivor and stills runs races today. Jeanne, throughout all of her treatments, continues to run and keep her body strong. Both of these ladies are my personal heroes and I look forward to being on the start line with both of them again soon. Jeanne's goal this year is to run a 5k and I will be happy to run alongside her (as will her dog Chase, who never seems to leave her side unless bribed with a hamburger).
