Gilda’s club is a place where men, woman, and children whose lives have been affected by cancer, as well as their family and friends, can feel they are part of a welcoming community of support. 20 years after my first marathon with Sandra Tomera we will be running the Chicago marathon to help raise money for Gilda’s club. In 1992 my father started his battle with cancer and then my mother in 1994. In 2021 I started my own terminal lifelong battle. With the help from Gilda’s club and Sandra, who has also fought and won her own battle with cancer, I’m going to crush the battle of running THE CHICAGO MARATHON 2023!!! Though I don’t have cancer, Gildas club will be part of my battle and many others for years to come. Please donate to an amazing group of people if you are able too. Thank you!
