As many of you may know, I have been training for the past several months to run my first ever marathon in Chicago on October 8th! I am raising money for Gilda's Club Chicago in honor of my loved ones that have been impacted by cancer. This organization's primary mission is to create a warm and welcoming community where people impacted by cancer (including patients, survivors, and friends and family) can come together for emotional, social, and practical support. From support groups and workshops to counseling services and educational programs, they offer a wide range of invaluable resources that are completely free of charge.
