Hi! My name is Kara Handelman and I am SO EXCITED to announce that I will be running for Gilda's Club in the 2026 Chicago Marathon! Gilda's club combines two of my favorite things: social services and comedy. It was founded in Gilda Radner's (the SNL legend) memory to provide social/emotional support to the families of cancer patients. They have counseling, art therapy, pet therapy, fitness classes, and even comedy classes, and they are all free of charge to anyone who is affected by cancer. I have run the NYC Marathon the past two years, and I am so excited to run for such a wonderful cause this year. It would mean the whole world to me if you would donate to my fundraiser.
