I am honored and excited to be running for Gilda's Club Chicago in the 2026 Chicago Marathon! As I explored the many great organizations participating in this year's race, Gilda's Club immediately stood out as one I felt a strong connection to. Cancer has impacted my family firsthand, and I've witnessed the struggle, exhaustion, and the herculean effort needed to defeat this horrible disease. It doesn't take one person to be cancer, it takes an army. Gilda's Club Chicago is that army; they provide a community of people, programs and unwavering support to ensure everyone, including those who may not have access to care, has the team around them to fight cancer. Cancer doesn't discriminate and neither does Gilda. We can't control who gets cancer, but we can control the resources and support available to those who are fighting. Every dollar makes a difference in the lives of people battling cancer by providing strength and hope. Running 26.2 miles is a walk in the park compared to cancer, so run aside me by donating to Gilda's Club Chicago. I'm eternally grateful for the generosity, love and commitment to this amazing foundation, and together we can help anyone beat cancer!! Thank you!
