I am honored and excited to be running for Gilda's Club Chicago in the 2026 Chicago Marathon! As I explored many great organizations participating in this year's race, I immediately felt a strong connection to Gilda's Club. Cancer has impacted my family firsthand, and I've witnessed the struggle, exhaustion, and the herculean effort needed to defeat this horrible disease. It doesn't take one person to beat cancer, it takes an army. Gilda's Club Chicago is that army; it's a community of people providing unwavering support to ensure everyone, including those who may not have access to care, has a team around them to fight cancer. Gilda's offers free programs such as yoga and meditation, art therapy, counseling, and various social events to individuals and their entire families impacted by cancer. Cancer doesn't discriminate and neither does Gilda. Gilda's offers aid to all of those struggling, no matter the gender, age, ethnicity, or type of cancer. We can't control who gets cancer, but we can control the resources and support available to those who are fighting. Every dollar makes a difference in the lives of people battling cancer by providing strength and hope. Running 26.2 miles is a walk in the park compared to cancer, so run aside me by donating to Gilda's Club Chicago. I'm extremely grateful for the generosity, love and commitment to this amazing foundation, and together we can help anyone beat cancer!! Thank you!
