A Message From Emma Weyn
This October, I’ll be running the Chicago Marathon for Gilda’s Club Chicago.
Cancer has touched my family and so many people I love. I’ll be running in honor of my grandmother, grandfather, uncle, and family friends whose lives have been impacted by cancer, and in memory of the ways they’ve each shaped my life.
I chose to run with Gilda’s Club because their mission goes beyond cancer treatment. They provide a community of support for the entire cancer journey—for patients, families, caregivers, friends, and those navigating the loss of someone they love. Their programs, including support groups, counseling, education, wellness activities, and social connections, are offered completely free of charge. Their belief that no one should have to face cancer alone is one I deeply believe in.
If you’re able, I’d be so grateful for a donation to help me support Gilda’s Club Chicago and the incredible work they do for people and families impacted by cancer.
Thank you for supporting me, and more importantly, for helping me honor the people who make this run so meaningful. ❤️
