Hello everyone! I am training for and will be running my fourth Chicago Marathon, and I am proud to be running in support of Gilda's Club Chicago again. It's hard to explain the joy of running 26 miles (maybe a bit crazy!) and competing with yourself, but I haven't been able to stay away since my first marathon in 2018. I have made wonderful friends from running clubs and the enjoyment of running itself, and the support of those that I love is an amazing feeling-- especially seeing my parents at many locations around the course! Cancer impacts so many families, including mine. This is a positive way to remember those that I have lost and support those currently dealing with a life-changing diagnosis. Gilda's Club is a wonderful organization focused on providing free support for individuals and their families whose lives are impacted by cancer. They create a community of support and offer a variety of resources from support groups, social events, educational lectures, and more. Thank you for supporting me as always and Gilda's Club!
