A Message From Gal Caspi
Hey everyone,
Cancer. We all know someone who has been affected by this terrible disease, and it has hit my family hard. Just a year ago, I lost my amazing grandmother to uterine cancer. My grandfather battled pancreatic cancer and lost the fight less than three years ago. And it doesn't stop there. 18 years later, I still feel the pain of losing my other grandfather to lung cancer. It's a devastating reality that so many of us face.
But there is hope. My father is a true warrior as he fought prostate cancer and emerged victorious over 4 years ago. His story is a testament to the power of research and innovation in this fight.
That's why I've taken it upon myself to run the 2024 Chicago marathon and raise funds for cancer support. I believe that by supporting people, we can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. Together, we can contribute to the global effort to fight this disease, save lives, and make our world a better place.
Every dollar we raise brings us closer to give hope to those facing this relentless enemy. That's why I'm reaching out to you today. I'm raising money for the incredible cancer support services provided by Team Gilda. Their team members are working tirelessly to ensure anyone impacted by cancer is empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.
I'm calling on each and every one of you to join me in this mission. Your contribution, big or small, will make a real impact. Let's come together and create a future where cancer is no longer a death sentence, and where families are spared the pain we've endured. Together, we can fight back and give hope to those who need it most.
Thank you for being a part of this journey!
