When I was 13, my life was forever changed when my dad lost his battle with cancer. I know the challenges that those impacted by cancer face during treatment. Because of my experience, I understand the value of a supportive community for the patient and their loved ones. That's why I have decided to run the 2024 Chicago Marathon for Gilda's Club Chicago. Initially started by Gilda Radner in New York, Gilda's Club provides free cancer support for families and friends of those impacted by cancer. I am extremely proud to be running for an organization that will support cancer patients and their families as they navigate this challenge.
